New Facebook Cover Photo...

This just in...

I HAVE A COVER!!  But you can't see it yet.  Soon.  I promise.  I need to get more written and get more buzz going.  It's difficult trying to stay connected and write and worry about editors and covers along with home life.  Exhausting.  I will get it together.  School starts in a week and hopefully I can get all kinds of writing done. ;-)

On a side note, my daughter's 18th birthday is tomorrow and she is about 800 miles away from me.  She starts college on Monday morning.  I'm hoping I handle all this ok and more importantly, that she does.  First person on my side of the family to go to college.  *So proud*

In today's news

I have an update!!  I have chosen the photo for my cover and it is currently being worked on by the designer, Robin @ Wicked by Design.  I am so flippin' excited to see what she's created.  I should have something this week or next!

I got a couple mock ups today.  It's so surreal to actually see it.  I can't stop looking at them.

I got another mock up yesterday.  Going for round 3.  3x's a charm, right?  We'll see.  I feel bad, but kinda not really.  =/

Hello...

I am an aspiring author, hoping to have at least one person like/love what I write.  I'm currently in the middle of my first novel.  It's sexy and fun, hopefully witty.  I'm also trying to get the right cover picked out so my twitter and facebook pages can be less dull.  It's a lot harder than I anticipated.  The cover in my head is hard to find in the real world.  
Editing, I'm sure, will be a nightmare.  I'm not looking forward to that.  I can see the red marks all over it now.   It will be an adventure to say the least.  
I'm starting this page because I have a twitter and facebook page already for my "author self" and thought I would need one of these too.  I don't have much to say on it right now, but hopefully soon I can share news and maybe a cover.  Then hopefully a release date and blog tours, and book tours, etc.  Haha.  I'm dreaming, but what's life without dreams.  
Check back now and again to see what's shakin'.
